How to measure diameter
Lay a ruler across the inside of an existing ring and measure the widest point in millimetres. This is the inner diameter.
How to measure circumference
Wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimetres.
Each method is reliable when done carefully. We recommend trying two if you're unsure , then compare your results.

Small factors affect your ring size more than you might expect. These tips ensure you measure correctly every time.
Your fingers change size throughout the day. They are smallest in the morning , especially after sleeping , and gradually expand as your body warms up and blood circulation increases.
Cold weather causes fingers to shrink, while heat causes them to expand. A ring sized in winter may feel too loose in summer, and vice versa.
A single measurement can be affected by how tightly or loosely you wrapped the paper or held the ruler. Measuring three times and taking the average gives a significantly more reliable result.
Your dominant hand is generally slightly larger than your non-dominant hand due to more active circulation and muscle use. If the ring is for your right hand, measure your right hand , and vice versa.
If your knuckle is significantly wider than the base of your finger, measure both. The ring must slide over the knuckle to reach the base, so it cannot be sized for the base alone.
Wider bands fit more snugly than narrow bands at the same nominal size. If you're choosing a wide band , 6mm or more , consider sizing up by half a size to ensure comfortable wear.
